About Leah

I'm Leah, a lifelong cat lover. I grew up with cats and have always enjoyed being around them. I became the go to sitter for friends and family, eventually making the decision to start the Curl Up Club last year.

Cat people

I believe cats are truly special animals and it takes a ’cat person’ to really understand that. I love that every cat has their own personality, confidence level and quirks. Good cat sitting means respecting those differences rather than treating every visit the same way.

Getting to Know your cat

For me the best part of cat sitting is spending time getting to know your cat. Whether that's the confident regulars, who greet me at the door when I collect the keys from their owners, or the more timid cats, who watch me work from their hiding space, sneaking out for a treat as their confidence grows.

Meet Clara

Clara is my ten year old cat with tuxedo markings. She is such a silly and happy girl who enjoys sniffing the flowers in our garden and curling up in strange places. This led to the idea for the name Curl Up Club!

Why this works

Why home cat sitting works well

Familiar environment

Cats stay in their own home with all their usual smells, hiding spots and territory.

Routines stay intact

Feeding times, litter habits and sleep routines continue as normal.

Less stress than boarding

Most cats find a quiet home visit far less stressful than travelling to and staying in a cattery.

You stay informed

Owners receive personalised updates so you can enjoy your trip away, worry free.
